Arta AI

Arta AI is a conversational assistant built into the Arta Sellers Dashboard. It helps sellers quickly find information, take action on shipments and quotes, and understand Arta’s products and shipping best practices directly from within the dashboard they use every day.

Arta AI combines secure access to your Arta data, deep knowledge of the Arta Manual, and tools for creating and managing quotes and shipments. It can see the requests and shipments in your account, reference guides from the Arta Manual, and then help you take next steps such as creating quotes, summarizing activity, or preparing exports.

This guide explains what Arta AI can do, where it is most useful in day‑to‑day work, and how to use it safely and effectively.

Key Use Cases

Day‑to‑day shipping operations

Use Arta AI to reduce the time you spend hunting through dashboards or documentation:

  • Look up the status of a shipment
  • Find a specific quote request by recipient, reference, or date
  • Pull a list of recently created shipments or requests
  • Get quick answers about service levels, coverage, or packaging requirements

Getting instant shipping quotes

Arta AI can help you move from item list to quote faster, especially when your data is semi‑structured.

You can:

  • Paste line items from invoices or sales sheets
  • Upload CSVs containing order or inventory data
  • Share a PDF containing artwork or order details
  • Provide a URL where item details are listed

Tracking, reporting, and analysis

Use Arta AI to understand shipping performance and history without building reports from scratch.

You can ask Arta AI to:

  • Summarize shipments over a given time period
  • Break down shipments by destination, service level, or partner
  • Identify high‑value or at‑risk shipments
  • Prepare CSV exports for internal reporting or accounting.

Learning and support

Arta AI is deeply connected to the Arta Manual and reference guides. Instead of searching and clicking through multiple pages, you can ask natural‑language questions and get direct answers, with links to the relevant guides.

Example prompts:

  • Why am I being asked for an EORI number
  • What’s Arta’s global coverage
  • How long should I expect pefore a Self Ship shipment is delivered

How to Use Arta AI in the Sellers Dashboard

  1. Open Arta AI

Access Arta AI from the Arta Sellers Dashboard wherever the chatbot icon or “Ask Arta AI” panel appears.

  2. Start with a clear goal

Begin with what you’re trying to accomplish (for example, “I want to create quotes for this CSV” or “I need a summary of this month’s shipments”).

  3. Provide context and data

Paste text, upload a CSV or PDF, or share a URL when you want Arta AI to work from existing information.

  4. Review and confirm actions

When Arta AI proposes creating quotes, exports, or other changes, review the details before confirming. You stay in control.

  5. Follow links to learn more

When Arta AI surfaces documentation, you can open the linked guides in the Arta Manual to dive deeper.

Safety, Security, and Limitations

Arta AI is designed to respect the scope of your Arta account. It only has access to the data that is available in your account and does not connect to external systems, such as your internal CRM, unless you have an explicit integration that permits that access. This means that any references it makes to specific shipments, requests, or account information come from the context of your Arta environment.

Like other tools powered by large language models, Arta AI can sometimes respond confidently with incomplete or incorrect information, a behavior often referred to as hallucination. To use it safely, treat AI‑generated summaries and explanations as helpful guidance rather than as legal, compliance, or accounting advice. For important operational decisions, always double check shipment values, addresses, service levels, and restrictions in the main dashboard before booking. When Arta AI answers questions about policy or product details, use the links it provides to confirm those answers in the official Arta Manual.

If something looks wrong or surprising, you can ask the assistant to show the source for its answer or to link you directly to the relevant documentation. This makes it easier to validate the information before acting on it.

Arta AI will ask for explicit confirmation before booking shipments or making irreversible changes in your account. Your conversations with Arta AI are handled according to Arta’s existing security and privacy practices. Customer contact details are not shared with Arta AI or third party providers unless you provide those details in the course of a task. As with any support or communication channel, you should avoid pasting passwords, payment card numbers, or other highly sensitive personal information into the chat.

Getting the Most Out of Arta AI

To get the most value from Arta AI, be as specific as you can about what you need. Including dates, shipment shortcodes, destinations, and and other filters helps the assistant narrow down the results and return more precise answers. It is also helpful to work in steps: start with a broad question, then ask follow‑up questions to filter or refine the information, such as asking to limit results to a particular region or time period.

You do not need to learn a new syntax or set of commands. Arta AI is designed to understand natural language, so you can describe your goals the same way you would explain them to a colleague. When you already have supporting documents, such as invoices, sale sheets, or existing reports, upload or paste them instead of re‑typing details; the assistant can read and interpret them for you.

If you are not sure where to begin, a simple question like “What can you help me with?” or “How can I use Arta AI to speed up my shipping workflow?” is a good starting point. Arta AI will respond with examples that are tailored to your account and common workflows so you can see what is possible and experiment from there.
