Consolidated transportation with optional transit packing and white-glove handling at collection and delivery.
Ideal for: Oversized design objects and furniture, and lower value art and antiques.
Our Select service can be configured to support both palletized or crated objects needing curbside delivery, or items that need white glove services at both locations. Speak with your account Client Success Manager to make sure pricing is aligned with your needs.
Collection and Packaging
A scheduled collection window will be provided by Arta. Drivers will call the origin contacts with an appointment time. Appointment schedule flexibility is determined by the driver.
If the object requires packaging for safe transportation, drivers will blanket wrap or box on site. Some items may require disassembly or components to be packaged separately. Everything will be delivered reassembled and at once. If crating or additional packing of any type is needed, that will occur back at the local facility before long haul transportation.
Please make sure items are ready for release from a ground level location with a clear pathway.
Dollies, lifts and other moving equipment may be required to maneuver large pieces. If floor, path or walls are sensitive to scratching, please alert the driver to place protective materials.
Transportation and Delivery
Items are transported via road with other furniture, antiques and collectibles. The vehicles often have air ride suspension but do not have temperature or climate control. If your object(s) are sensitive to temperature fluctuations, please book our Arta Premium service.
For crated or palletized shipments, delivery will be to the threshold. This means a garage, entryway or patio. If unpacking and disposal are booked services, the carrier will perform these on site and deliver the unpackaged object(s) inside.
For all other objects, delivery is to an inside location on the ground level with a clear pathway. If disassembled for transit, objects will be reassembled at delivery.
Please know the intended location of the object, drivers are unable to stay on site to move pieces around. Drivers cannot move other items at the delivery location. Dollies, lifts and other moving equipment may be required to maneuver large pieces. If floor, path or walls are sensitive to scratching, please alert the driver to place protective materials.
A scheduled delivery window will be provided by Arta. Drivers will call the destination contacts with an appointment time for delivery, and will call ahead of arrival on the day of the appointment.
