Self Ship provides the same Parcel transportation options as our Parcel Quote type without the additional collection and packing services. Arta provides a shipping label and packing instructions and the origin contact is responsible for packing the goods, affixing the label, and releasing the package(s) to the appropriate carrier.

Self Ship is a great economic option for sellers who are equipped to securely pack and release the goods. This quote type requires prior authorization by Arta.

Parcel transportation services typically vary by shipping speeds, e.g. Ground vs Overnight, but the specific parcel transport types may also vary depending on the shipping route.  The specific transport services and their descriptions are available in the Parcel Transport Services Metadata Endpoint ↗︎.

US Domestic Parcel

• Ground
  • Ground shipments deliver in three to five days once shipped. Available within the contiguous United States.
• Second Day Air
  • Delivers in two business days once shipped. Available in the continental US and Puerto Rico. Some locations in Alaska and Hawaii require additional transit time.
• Next Day Air
  • Delivers the following business day once shipped. Available in the contiguous United States and Puerto Rico.

Worldwide Parcel

• Economy
  • Delivers in three to five days once shipped, pending customs clearance. Economy parcel shipments are comparable to UPS Worldwide Saver or Standard services or FedEx International Ground or Express Saver services.
• Standard
  • Delivers in two to four days once shipped, pending customs clearance. Standard parcel shipments are comparable to UPS Worldwide Expedited, FedEx International Economy services, or DHL Express Worldwide services.
• Priority
  • Delivers in one to three days once shipped, pending customs clearance. Priority parcel shipments are comparable to UPS Worldwide Express or FedEx International Priority services.
