Shipping Protection is built for the transportation of unique and high value objects moved with Arta. Shipping Protection is available across all Arta Shipping service types, for all of the objects we support.
Shipping Protection covers the object from the moment Arta takes possession through delivery, including any on site services. An “all risks” policy covers restoration and repair, not just claims for total loss, intending to preserve these one of a kind items. Next, we will share the highlights of our insurance coverage.
Should the unexpected occur, our claims process is designed to be swift and straightforward, providing you peace of mind throughout the entire journey.
Including Shipping Protection with Arta Shipping
Shipping Protection is an additional service you can request when generating a Request or Hosted Session. The cost will be itemized in our quotes. Shipping Protection must be booked with the shipment and cannot be added after collection. If the customer opts out of Shipping Protection, Arta will not cover loss, damage, or non delivery.
Shipping Protection coverage is for the sum of the object values provided by the client on the request, which should reflect the total sum paid for the objects. Shipping Protection does not include coverage for duties and taxes paid to customs.
Shipping Protection for Client Shipping
Shipping Protection extends Arta’s trusted coverage to shipments you arrange yourself. Whether you maintain your own carrier relationships or prefer to handle shipping independently, you can protect your high-value items with the same coverage Arta provides for its full-service shipments.
Shipping Protection covers the object value from shipment to delivery for parcels shipped via common carriers like FedEx, UPS, DHL, and USPS. This creates a flexible entry point to Arta’s services, allowing you to protect your items without changing your existing shipping workflows.

Clients may not markup coverage rates when presenting them to buyers.
